Business Tourism

An estimated 6-7% of all foreign tourist arrivals to South Africa in 2007 were made up of business tourists, translating to about 550 000 business tourists compared to 470 000 in 2006. The Balance of Work 2 Play is a specialist Business Tourism company.

Incentive Travel

For international companies wanting to explore South Africa, we are Africa specialists with an intensive insight into Southern African countries. Other than South Africa, we have done work in Namibia, Lesotho, Kenya, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Vic Falls, Tanzania and all the Indian Ocean Islands.
On the international level for our local corporate clients, we have sent them to Argentina, Egypt, Thailand, Hungary, Germany, Italy, Singapore, China, and India. We have also sent some clients on cruises.
The team has travelled extensively internationally and are well versed in travel. Our key suppliers list extends globally and we thus have access to superb rates from a negotiation point of view.

Events

On the events side, we have also had numerous launches throughout Africa for various listed companies. We have enjoyed planning centenary celebrations with some of our clients and also done the smaller events like the company Christmas Function.

Teambuilding

Our teambuilding ranges from the basic informal teambuild which is just a bunch of you getting together to the more formal outcomes based teambuild.

Conferences

Our conference organising has ranged from small meetings and leadership breakaways to major conferences and training events.
In 2007 we organised a number of directors strat sessions including that of ‘MTN Directors Strat Weekend’.
Our latest success this year is the NUMSA conference for 1 000 people which we are organising later this year
